iPhone 4S with Canon 50mm EF f1.8 SLR Lens (OWLE Bubo & EnCinema SLR Lens Adapter)

Video description

Just testing out to see how well the iPhone 4S and its full HD 1080p video works using the iPhone SLR Lens Adapter from http://www.vid-atlantic.com mounted via the OWLE bubo also available at Vid-Atlantic Whats the point? Well the new iPhone 4S video has a much greater quality camera than the last few iPhones do and attaching SLR lenses allows you to knock the background out of focus just like real film and cinema cameras with large sensors or 35mm frame sizes. Works very well...more (exciting) videos to come using the iPhone 4S and SLR lenses.

justjeric : How did you avoid vignetting?
Vid-Atlantic : @ditoarch06 Since the adapter is made with the Canon EOS mount, it is the only mount type that can be converted to most other lens types, giving you many options. That's very good in case you come across a good deal on any particular type of lens. You'll simply need converter rings like: Nikon to EOS, Minolta to EOS, Pentax to EOS, etc. These can be found on ebay or other shops for a few dollars. 90% of our videos are filmed with a Canon EF 50mm f1.8 or a Nikon 50mm f1.8 lens.
pessimisticsims : wow awesome!!!!
dickdog75 : impressive
Andi1089 : this is real?.. testimonial pls..
Vid-Atlantic : @ChristianFS1 The company that makes the mCAM (previously known as the OWLE) are planning to make the unit for other devices. So when thats made, then you can possibly mount the EnCinema to your device.
Vid-Atlantic : yes 28mm and 35mm are good portrait lenses.
